Friendly Fire

Bill O'Reilly thinks that if he is fair with liberals, they'll be fair with him.

Keep thinking, Bill.

Nancy

Whenever Ms. Pelosi  talks about the "marble ceiling", I can't help thinking about the
"porcelain urinal".

Your move, Madam Speaker.

holiday (n) [fr. holy + day]

When I was a kid, we celebrated: Washington's Birthday, Columbus Day, Christmas.
Today, we lump the mediocrities, the giants, and the Clintons into one generic Presidents Day,
we revile Columbus, and at the end of the year, we are (currently) allowed a "happy  holiday".

Three Great Men, Jesus, Columbus, and Washington, swept from the public square.
Three Great  Men, each of whom changed the way we live,  thrown to the shadows of  popular culture.
Does a pattern emerge?

Washington.
Gone.
Columbus.
Gone.
Jesus.
Gone.

Who are the people who changed our holidays?  Where do they meet?  How do they vote?
How do they spread the Word to the Faithful?
Who are these  people?

Do they ever sleep?
